Girly Things

 

My obsession with ruffled things started early. I was one of those lucky little girls with a canopy bed, all pink gingham and accented with waves of frill. I remember the first pair of pumps I bought as a teen, they had black suede ruffles lining the front of the glossy patent leather kitten heels, very late 80's! No question that I was going to love the latest shoes from Gos, as usual they are flawless and also happen to be fabulously frilly, what I didn't expect was a matching dress that made my heart happy too. For Every Occasion

You know that you are in trouble when you are giggling uncontrollably while trying to blog a very seriously sexy outfit. This is the case for the latest release from Narcisse, the Quinn Tuxedo, I should probably mention that I had just finished watching Step Brothers when I started to style the outfit, if you haven't seen it you really should. A Tuxedo is typically a special occasion outfit, and while I am certain that anytime you wear this skimpy Tux you will be having a very special occasion, it is fair to point out that you can always find new reasons to wear one... job interviews, church picnics, maybe a little fly fishing?

It is only fitting that a good weekend of shopping culminates in a Monday blog post, and here it is. I decided to glam up a bit and wear more than a bikini to hit the events and new releases across the grid, it was all about white head to toe, and touches of gold to make a statement. Air Conditioned

Glamistry released some new footwear this week, the Iris Heels, they inspired me to undress and appreciate the airy style of the multi-strapped design and the detailed heel, complete with open work, they seem like a perfect shoe to let the cool air circulate around your fancy feet. Baiastice also has some new releases at this month's round of Uber, the Savannah Jewelry is worthy of praise, with its generous sized stones and color change neck ribbon. Undressed and dressed up, all at the same time.

Double Cute

I have been spending a good portion of my Summer binge watching True Blood, again. Some of the lines from the show are stuck in my head lately, like when Arlene tells fellow waitress Sookie Stackhouse that her little neckerchief is "Double Cute".
