Call Me Courtisane

They teased. They begged us to come see what the fuss was about. When the time came, it was clear; there were shoes, there is collaboration, and something new has been born. Courtisane, a name that suggests the role of the beguiling and worldly women who were more than just high class ladies of the evening, they were skilled artisans and wearers of the most avante-garde fashion, sees the joining together of Enktan Gully of Enkythings and LeeZu Baxter of LBD.

LeeZu is known for her fantastic use of color and texture, really unique style and almost experimental designs, though very wearable. Enktan is a master of construction and masterful footwear that appeals to the discerning shopper who seeks quality and beautiful shape. Together they have created a line, at this point 4 styles, that combine luscious color, great looking textiles and details and most importantly wearable high fashion footwear.

Arriving at the store yesterday I was greeted by a flock of beautiful lingerie clad models, with feathered headdresses and fans, they danced and swung flirtatiously on high wires, the entire event was very entertaining, and I left with some nice looking shoes, and a set of the lingerie LeeZu will be releasing very soon. I will be reviewing the shoes, boots and booties more closely over the next few days. But if you are curious, please go take a look at the new collection from Courtisane, today. StyleCard: Hoorenbeek & LBD

When I first heard the rumor that Hoorenbeek, purveyor of all things male fashion, had released a shoe for the ladies I was surprised to say the least. A quick dash over to Hoorenbeek confirmed that this was in fact a reality, here were the Hoorenbeek Stilettos. The shoes are a nice shape with a moderately high heel, the type of height that anyone would be comfortable wearing, thanks to creator Limer Fredriksson.

The shoe comes with a whole array of options, so you buy the one pair for a very reasonable cost and you get 6 shoe fabrications, 12 colour options for each fabrication, and customizable details like the strap and bow which can be removed, or the fact that you can style these up your own way deciding on the heel texture, bow and body separately. A fairly grand entrance onto the female footwear scene. One nice side note is that Hoorenbeek offers these with a gift option, so looking forward to the holidays you can pick up some for those footwear challenged friends or the good old 'Adopt a Newbie for Xmas' Program, OK I made up that last bit.

The rest of this look features LBD (LeeZu Baxter Designs), who has come out with a steady stream of interesting dresses and separates lately. I admit it had been a while since I visited her shop, but I was instantly drawn to these well textured high-waisted Lea Pants and Natascha Dress in Silver, which I am wearing the top portion of here. A sophisticated style without the need for multiple accessories, but I did manage to add my Bandit Diamonds Party Ring and the PC Silver Spike Earrings. Wearing the Hoorenbeek Stilettos in the black patent without the bow seemed like a perfect fit. Hair is ETD.

Visit Hoorenbeek and LBD (LeeZu Baxter Designs) for some sophisticated style.

Undeniably LeeZu

I was tipped off in the wee hours of the morning by fellow model and friend Francesca Balogh, a LeeZu Baxter Designs employee, that she had awoken to some of the most fabulous shoes created by LeeZu Baxter herself... and asked if I had seen them. Well I had not, but after receiving some 16 pairs and a demo pair from LeeZu just a short while later, I can tell you that I am sure glad I have now.

The Klara Stilettos are really true to LeeZu's style with a uniquely organic feel, textures that give the effect of painterly brush strokes and spectacular sculpted ornamentation. The shoes can be worn with or without a leg attachment that combines soft transparent shapes, beads and a delicate bow it comes in 3 sizes for accurate fitting. They look great either way, and with 16 colors on offer I am confident you will fall in love with one or all of them!

Top image I am wearing the babypink, also above are; yellow, red, darkblue, brown, champagnegold, turquoise, black and pink . Look for these, and try a demo at LBD's home sim, 'To the Nines'.

Also wearing; PXL Skin, Laqroki Hair, Dress by Elate!, Gloves by TaP (now Fleur), Earrings by Paper Couture, Necklace by +plus, Bracelets by Fresh Baked Goods. Poses by [LAP]. Shot at Chouchou.
