A Little Bit Kookie

And here they are, something kinda special from Kookie Lemon, and yeah more toes. Lovers of the Kookie brand will be very familiar with the more animated look to the shoes, they have a very unique quality to them that I have yet to see duplicated. Unique textures and shape, and now some very unique Chic Heels, complete with painted piggies and leg wrapping leather. They have a unique color match system for customizing skin tone, and a hud for selecting nail color - this method worked very well. And so, from the fabulous chunky wood sole and softly textured leather with Bow or without, to the metal accents and criss cross of straps, the Chic Heels are a fun shoe to be sure.

Visit Kookie to get your fix.

The Stuff; Redgrave Skin, :;69:: Hair, DP Serendipity Sweater and Lingerie, Maitreya Skirt, Sole Necklace, Tres Blah Purse.

StyleCard: J's Thigh Highs

There are certain areas of SL fashion where I rarely venture... these would include the fetish gear, latex, rubber, etc. But sometimes an item can crossover into the other areas of virtual fashion, and be unexpected treats for the occasional RP or themed party. When JB Gazov of J's Boots sent me 2 variations of his latest Thigh High Boots, I wasn't really sure what to make of them. They are sexy, they are high, and they really show how far the clever use of the 'system shoe' has come in the past couple years. With a beautifully shaped foot piece and wrinkled ankle prim these hardly look like any system shoe I have ever seen, but the great texturing of the leg portion which is part of that system shoe and the added bow make these a nice pair of sexies.

The boots come in 2 variation as previously mentioned, a Lace-up and Non-laced version. Though I expect this type of boot lends itself well to the fetish fashion world, I chose to take mine in the direction of 'Future Sexy' . The great corset and mini skirt from Mekanoize Labs (hey, where did they go?) and the upper part of the Bare Rose Decadence Maia Silver Jacket were just the thing. I added my new favorite hair, Shirley from Zero Style and headed to INSILICO for a few pics.

Visit J's Boots to pick up a pair.

The stuff; Redgrave Skin, Zero Style Hair, Bare Rose Jacket, Corset and Mini from Mekanoize Labs.

The Business of Sexy

Yes, she did it again. That Siren of Stilettos, Stiletto Moody, has released more tantalizing footwear to make us drool. This time it is a fabulous variation on the Patent Pinup featuring a new selection of Fall colors, and two optional bows (heel and toe), along with the other customizable features mentioned in my previous post.

I absolutely love the sweet sexy styling of the Pinup, and the added yumminess of bows... hello! One thing I was very happy to see it the Blacker Black of the new release, the previous had a fairly blue-black hue to it that made it a tricky match on some occasions. The colors are available individually or as a full set of the five with a colorchange menu, and in my opinion the Chocolate, Burgundy and Blacker Black make this a fantastic option.

So while Monday is hardly my favorite day of the week, today is a little bit brighter thanks to shoes this pretty. Here is a look at Stiletto Moody's Ad showing the full fall color range (thanks Dancer!), but you can get a closer look at the shades in-world at Stiletto Moody Headquarters.

Christmas Came Early

Ah yes, for the faithful fans of Stiletto Moody, Christmas cheer arrived a bit early yesterday in the form of the Red Tartan Pinup Spike. It's shiny and pretty and all wrapped up with a bow, just like any good holiday gift ought to be. Okay, so maybe it is a bit early, but it IS about the time for some holiday shopping. My recommendation, let the first gift you buy be something really special for yourself... and failing that, hand the Landmark for these beauties to your someone special and give them a very strong hint about what you hope to find under the tree this year. And don't worry, best of both worlds, grab up these so 'on trend' Tartan babies now and I can almost bet that Stiletto has more in store for us in the weeks to come.

Important details to note, there are 2 variations of the Pinup Spikes, one with full Tartan and one that adds another touch of black at the heel. Both are equipped with the superbly scripted options menu which, for those who may not be familiar, allows us to swap metals between silver and gold, add or remove the ankle chain, disable heel clicks, or wear the shoes at full bright if we desire. So now that the technical stuff is out of the way, I only have one question. Anyone want to help keep me warm? Apparently I went out in my short shorts again. :P

Head on over to Stiletto Moody and take a closer look.

StyleCard: Jape Stern & DeLa

Very picture heavy post, but I am so thrilled with these offerings from Kuranosuke Komachi of DeLa (and sub-label Jape Stern) that I wanted to show off as many items as I could. DeLa has really evolved into an amazing place for not only shoes but a home to fashionable clothing, sexy separates and accessories. (Click images to enlarge.)

The Boots featured are the latest in the Jape Stern line, the offshoot of DeLa designed to feature men's footwear primarily, that now includes these awesome Shuzzle Bow Boots. Of particular note is the ample satiny ribbon bow at the top of the tall lace up boots that is a funky contrast to the cobbler footed boots. Nice suedey textures and a great range of fall colors make these a great boot to own. They work so well with the outfits created by Kuranosuke that they are able to look fashion forward, but a pair could easily work well for more gothic, neko or lolita-ish looks.

The three outfits shown and most of the accessories are by DeLa. The black set is called Mirielle, a stomach baring set great for layering and mix and match, stocking and the amazing neck piece are included. Worn with a simple three bangle set from Armidi Gisaci. The navy blue look is comprised of a sleeveless jacket with neck bow and short pants, that utilize sculpted components to add some shape These are from the Nicole series, and all the accessories worn are from DeLa's great accessory line.

The final set is fun and sexy and comes with the great belt, which I have already worn with other outfits. The Daisy fur lined vest, shown in rich dark red, and the matching suede skirt. One person told me I looked like Santa's little helper in this, and maybe I do, but It does come in many amazing colors and I am a huge fan of red... so watch out Santa, here is one hot little helper! All hair is from ETD.

Look for these great fashions and more at DeLa!

The stuff; Redgrave Skin, ETD Hair, DeLa Clothing and Accessories, additional Accessories from Armidi, Boots by Jape Stern @ DeLa.

StyleCard: NONKO & More

Shape. Details. Uniqueness. Things that make a shoe stand out. With a shoe wardrobe of more than 500 pairs, yeah, more than... it takes something special to catch my eye and make me plunk down some Lalas. The hot trend for all things 'Alice in Wonderland' seems to have finally hit the feet, and in a fantastically wearable way. You don't have to do a head to toe look, complete with 'Mad Hatter' and Lolita style dress to work a bit of the old Lewis Carroll charm into your wardrobe. These NONKO Ballerina heels are delightfully ribboned and feature vintage illustrations of Alice as created by different artists. My favorite was the sweet faced Alice of the 'unmoral' pair. (click on image to enlarge)

To complete the look I went for some classic elegance with modern touches. The blouse from Cachet has wonderful sculpted sleeves and great seaming, tucked into a high waisted pencil skirt from INGENUE. Black pearl wrapped bracelet from Encore, black beaded choker from Kraftika, a sweet small purse from MM Luxe (Viva La Glam) and my Kingsgate engagement ring add to the style. Hair... yes, ::69:: again -just can't get enough!

Look for the sweet shoes at NONKO.

The stuff; Redgrave Skin, ::69:: Hair, Cachet Blouse, INGENUE Skirt, MM Luxe Bag, Accessories by Encore, Kraftika and Kingsgate.

StyleCard: Aoharu & Smarti Party

As promised more sweet treats from Aoharu Walk and a spectacular dress that I just could not wait a single second before getting it on and dancing around like a Smarti Party girl. These sweet red Bow Platforms from the newly released Aoharu footwear line pack a candy coated punch when paired with this completely irresistible dress from relative newcomer Chiocca Latte of CHI. The dress actually comes with a wearable temp rezzer that drops a sweet trail of candy beans wherever you go... not particles, actual prim candies all over my photo studio, too amazing! (Just make sure you are in an area that allows you to rez)

As for the finishing touches, a big mane of Detour hair and a sweet satin red bow from the same. To add just a bit more sugar I am wearing a cake necklace from Violet Voltaire, and the buncha heart bangles from Boing Fromage which are color change scripted for the perfect match.

This is a totally fun look, for these totally sweet shoes... get some at Aoharu Walk and pay Chiocca a visit over at CHI for this sweet treat.

The Stuff; Minnu Skin, Detour Hair & Bow, CHI Dress, Aoharu Shoes, Violet Voltaire Necklace & !BF! Bracelets.

Double DeLa, Part One

Another busy phase in RL and SL has seriously sidelined my ability to get these reviews out as fast as I might like, as I sincerely apologize to anyone who has sent items... my hope is to get caught up by the weekend. In the meantime it's back to business as usual, and shoes that make me feel so fortunate to be able to share them with you. Kuranosuke Kamachi at DeLa has had a busy summer, so many amazing releases that this must now be a 2 part post, the first part being to share 2 sensational new pumps the Stella and the Silvera.

The Silvera are a sleek pointy toed classic pump, with a perfect high shine and sexy shape. They reminded me of the fall season just around the corner and all the exciting coats and warmer wear just ahead. They look so great peeking out from below a long sleek pair of trousers, and they come in a range of colors that will make any shoe fan gleeful.

The Stella are just too darling for words, with these giant dimensional satiny bows... yes bows and Anessa... peas and carrots, what can I say. Cute shape, nice peep toe design with a smexy stacked wooden heel that I adore the look of. The just scream to be paired with a sleek party dress.

I recommend both styles and I can't wait to share the other exciting DeLa goodies with you soon... head on over to DeLa for your shoe fix!

I am wearing; with Stella - Giusia Skin, ::69:: Hair, Ibizarre Outfit, Fleur Gloves, Hair Rose by ::: Usagui My Field :::. with Silvera - Giusia Skin, ::69:: Lucky Chair Hair (Butterflies Removed), Novocaine Dress, LBD Necklace.

State of Shock

Good Golly, Miss Molly! Canimal Zephyr has made shooooes... oh my happy little feets danced right on into these. I have to say that they are a truly remarkable first sculpted shoe for Canimal, a long time fave for fun punky clothes with amazing punches of color and hot style. The Shock Value Stilettos are a perfect extension of that Canimal style, all the color, all the fun (note the bow biting skull adorned toes), and an exciting square toed design for a nicely shaped stiletto. The shoes come equipped with a color change HUD for bow color options, a nice touch to extend the wear of the shoes. I can only say that these are a darn great shoe, and I look forward to seeing what Canimal's next surprise will be.

Claudia & Roxy

Siddean Munro's footwear line took a nice leap forward this past week with the release of two new styles, the Claudia Ballet Flats and the Roxy Mules. SLink is busily establishing itself as a place where you can find not only shoes, but clothing and skins as well - all seemingly executed with great care and attention to detail.

The Claudia Ballet Flats are a nicely pointed variation of this ever popular inventory item, a healthy sized sculpted bow adorns the toe... and we all know how I feel about my bows! There are a wide range of colour options and combinations available, here are just a sampling of some of my favorites.

These Roxy Mules are a fun style, and I really love what Siddean has done here - allowing for a nice assortment of animal print, textile and solid options. They have a nice height and attractive shape, also, some great texturing to achieve a wrinkled look on the upper. Shown below are only a few of the designs available. Another winner in my book.

Be sure and add SLink to your weekend shopping trip.

Also wearing; with Claudia - Minnu Skin, Dernier Cri Hair, Artilleri Dress, Usagui Hair Flower, DECO Jewelry Necklace, Fresh Baked Goods & Calla Bracelets. with Roxy - PXL Skin, Dernier Cri Hair & Complete Outfit, DECO Jewelry Necklace. Flowers by Mej & Mau's.

Undeniably LeeZu

I was tipped off in the wee hours of the morning by fellow model and friend Francesca Balogh, a LeeZu Baxter Designs employee, that she had awoken to some of the most fabulous shoes created by LeeZu Baxter herself... and asked if I had seen them. Well I had not, but after receiving some 16 pairs and a demo pair from LeeZu just a short while later, I can tell you that I am sure glad I have now.

The Klara Stilettos are really true to LeeZu's style with a uniquely organic feel, textures that give the effect of painterly brush strokes and spectacular sculpted ornamentation. The shoes can be worn with or without a leg attachment that combines soft transparent shapes, beads and a delicate bow it comes in 3 sizes for accurate fitting. They look great either way, and with 16 colors on offer I am confident you will fall in love with one or all of them!

Top image I am wearing the babypink, also above are; yellow, red, darkblue, brown, champagnegold, turquoise, black and pink . Look for these, and try a demo at LBD's home sim, 'To the Nines'.

Shall We Dance?

Not my typical afternoon when I received a surprise folder from Spirit owner SavannahAnn McMillan. It's content... Ballet Boots, this I have to see. I do have some recollection of the Spirit name, likely I was looking for the wardrobe essential cheerleader costume at the time, but boots? OK - so here they are and I get the name, they are pretty and bow wrapped and yeah, a bit ballet like... but also really fun for a casual look. There is also a cute dangly little Spirit charm on the heel. What can I say, I am a sucker for girly stuff, sometimes.

I also noted the cute ballet slippers that come with the Spring Ballet Class Set and the Corset/Tutu Set, so naturally I had to show them off too... yup super cute. So here I am doing my best Ballerina impression... please excuse the fact that I have little to no natural talent... I blame it on the fact that at 3 years of age my ballet career was stolen from me when my dance teacher ran off with someone else's husband after 2 lessons, no lie.

I believe I have now fully achieved my dancer potential. If you crave the same vicarious fun, or want to grab your self some boots that are sure to make you feel feminine, visit Spirit.

Irresistible

Well is certainly seems like sandal season is upon us, so many great releases in the past few weeks... they are certainly keeping me on my toes... hehe, get it? *slaps knee* Without the beautiful Graciana here to help cover the latest shoe news from across the grid, it seems I am forced to have to review all these lovelies myself, and really - no complaints from me. Just look at these amazing new Celine Sandals from DeLa... couldn't you die! Kuranosuke Kamachi has done it again - love, love, love 'em.

The sculpted heel and base on these sexy sandals is a most attractive shape, really well done. Incredible colorful textile wrap on the toe, and the wow factor of a tied ankle and hanging sculpt and flex bow, sensational. The eye catching metal and semi-precious stone accents are simply gorgeous. My only problem was deciding which one to wear today... I eventually settled on this spectacular Zebra.

The Celine is available in; Zebra (shown above), CutieLove and CutieLove Black (red print), Wordsworth (green), Breeze (blue), and Camellia (yellow/purple) and Camellia Black soled variation. These can be had at DeLa, fly on over soon.

A Sweet Tooth for Sixty Nine

Well, you know I love me some red shoes, but I am happy that all the Valentine’s red shoe-ness is done for now… because frankly I was ready for some fun with color again. So as it happens I have been stalking Kumii Yoshikawa since I first blogged her adorable Succubus Pumps, just before they took they grid by storm. I am happy to say that my innocent stalkery paid off this morning when I found Kumii in her shop at Honmoku putting these adorable babies on the shelves.

The Candy Pumps are a sweet combination of dots and bows, fun color and great shape… and it doesn’t hurt that she has made adorable coordinating hats for every pair this time. Colors are; Black/Green. Black/Pink, Black/White, Black/Red, White/Pink, White/Purple, White/Black & White/Blue. Ooh... I can just taste spring right around the corner… can’t you?

Candy Pumps are available from ::69:: (Sixty Nine).

Also wearing; Minnu Skin, ETD Hair, Dress by Frangipani Designs, Coat by Veschi, Denim Capri Overalls by UnTone Quilt. (review copies requested.)

Skulls and Bows

My little shoe sleuthing toes have carried me far and wide... across sims whose names I could not pronounce, and to places that I pray I never have to see again. Sometimes the great shoes are just a camera angle away. This morning on one such journey I spotted a poor ruthed girl... the orange hair helmet, the awkward stance... the shoe shape gone, but the shoes... my little heart started palpitating!

We have already covered my affection for detail, sculpties and bows, right? Well here it was an Anessa 'Grand Slam'... amazing sculpted pumps with bows... and skulls. Yah! I am assuming at this point that I am the only girl left in SL that did not know that you could click on a worn object and 'Inspect' it to find out who created it (thank-you Graci!), so I entered into a unique conversation with the wearer, who only spoke Japanese, to try and get the name of the shop where she got them. It took some work, but I eventually got a landmark. Fingers crossed I TP'd, I arrived at the Honmoku Sim and this shop named 69 (Sixty-Nine).

As the rezzing took it's sweet time, I became anxious... I needed these shoes! I was thankfully in the right place, and I grabbed up a pair of the amazing Succubus pumps in basic black. They come in some other great shades; silver, blood, dark cherry, olive, dark olive, snow and leopard for my fellow animal print fans. Here I am wearing the Dark Cherry, Black and Leopard.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with creator Kumii Yoshikawa who gave me a sneak peak at some other great shoes she is about to release, the MargueriteL Ribbons in Cream and Black. From the looks of these sweet Mary Jane pumps and the boots I saw in her shop - and some great accessories too - I can assure you that there is more to enjoy from 69 in the future.

Update!

I visited 69 again today to pick-up an additional pair of the Leopard Print Succubus shoes for a friend (the shoes are transfer!!!) and discovered that Kumii Yoshikawa had placed a special limited time only 1L item out alongside the Succubus Pumps! A Leopard Print Hat that is completely addorable! - Go get some shoes, and go get that hat! Yay!
