Riding The Rails With ANEXX

Inspired by the breezy casual styles of the latest footwear release from ANNEX, footwear created by Machang Pichot of AOHARU, I decided to head out to the Plains and test out 3 great new pairs. Starting with a Western Boot that has ample fringe, and eye catching metal stud details around the leg opening, the Fringe Western Boots are sure to please with their slightly worn look and gently shaped foot.

Next came a very feminine little ballet flat, covered in an all over floral embroidered fabric, a sweet bow and leather trimming make it perfect for wearing with casual summery dresses or jeans. The shoes come with versions for the updated SL viewer, including a sweet sock-in version (not shown here). I choose the very special Payton Dress from DCNY Clothing Co. (short version) and paired it with a cropped leather jacket from AOHARU for this part of my journey.


Finally, as I climbed back on board the footwear express... the Bow Ballet Flats were just the thing to travel home in comfortable style, with a cute sculpted bow on the back. More great clothing from AOHARU was a natural choice, the latest releases of lacey skirts and belted cotton button downs are hard to resist. The all white theme may not be the best for the dusty plains, but they will surely find a home in your inventory easily enough.

Call Me ANEXX-A!

Machang Pichot is probably one of the sweetest designers in Second Life, she always makes such beautiful things, with great color and detail, for both her AOHARU Clothing and ANEXX Footwear collections. This latest release features some great springy casuals, loads of denim and as usual, great little touches that make me smile. I am featuring the Denim Remake Boots in the Ripped variation and the Fringed Sweed Sneakers in White. Most of the clothing worn in this post is also from AOHARU, it is so easy to pull together great casual looks at this one stop shopping sim.

StyleCard: ANEXX 2-Way Belt Laceup Boots

They have a really long name, those ANEXX 2-Way Belt Laceup Boots, but they also have a lot of good things going on for fans of casual, almost rustic, sculpted boots. Machang Pichot has some great new releases at footwear expo, and these hard to resist lace-ups come in both men's and women's sizes. Available in 6 colors, the boots feature well worn leather and soles, and shiny gold buckles, grommets and hooks. Each pair comes with 2 variations, a basic boot and one with plaid accents. You can buy these in individual pairs or in fatpacks of 3. Look for these at Footwear Expo, and at the ANEXX Main Store.

Anessa on ANEXX

AOHARU Walk/Luxury Line has been reborn as ANEXX Luxury Footwear. Machang Pichot whose styles have been very well received, has seen her shoe line grow in leaps and bounds, the latest step is into a whole new brand name. When ANEXX launches later this week it will boast 5 unique new styles; pumps, peep toes, embellished and knee high gladiator heels and a sexy back zip boot. The details range from opulent to sweet, with fringe (that moves!) and bows, gems and 'A' charms, and textures that have the look of satin or softened leather.

For my sneak peak at the ANEXX collection I decided to try and not completely blow my bank account on new outfits and instead try some mix and match with my favorite Bijou looks, new and old. White Nights

Feeling pretty in white last night and wearing the latest goodies from AOHARU WALK Luxury Line, the Long Python Gladiator Heels. We have seen more than a few gladiator boots recently, these python ones by Machang Pichot have a great look to them, and a nice fit which always impresses me. The foot was an easy color change and the realistic buckles and attractive shape make these a desirable look.

Playing Footsies

A couple of quick hits that are worth checking out, new releases from AOHARU Walk, J's Shoes and Kookie. Up first is the just born style from Kookie Lemon, Vogue Strappy Shoes. A fresh heel-less foot in shoe platform with metallic leather straps. Easy skin color change with a colour tinted ball that you rez and customize, and a HUD for nail color and the ankle fix options. These are available in multiple colors.

Next up is the attractive Flat Gladiator Sandal from AOHARU Walk. Like the rest of the Luxury Line more cute feet, but these are a flat which is less common. I like all the little details and the join at the leg looks great after minor fit adjustment. A sassy kinda flat sandal for sure. These are worth grabbing in your favorite shade.

Finally is today's release from J's, the Flip-Flap and Barefoot. Of all the foot in shoe styles I have tried I found these the trickiest to tint, but once i got them matched the result was rather nice. I love these flat foot styles and a flip flop is great shoe to have with the foot. These also come with the option of nail colors and can be worn as a bare foot too... which would be nice for photos but will likely need some retouch at the ankle. These come with a pair of cute flowered anklets to help disguise the join point.

Blog-O-Rama Saturday

Is it just me or did everyone release new shoes this weekend? I have once again decided to condense my reviews into one big posting, all outfit details will be at the end. So let's take a look at the latest from Biddle Boots, AOHARU Walk & enkythings.

The Ankle Boots from Biddle Boots, have a great satiny texture and are adorned with stylish gold chains and trims. I love the fresh pink color shown here, and the overall sleek shape. What seems to be the latest method of attaching footwear appears here once again, with an invisi-prim foot attachment and the actual boot attached to the lower leg.

Next we have this surprising treat from AOHARU Walk Luxury Line, who has released a new foot in shoe Gladiator Sandal, called Enamel Gladiator shown here in white. I am really quite impressed with the detail and the style of this shoe, the skin adjustment was very simple using a hud with multiple color options, and then further fine tuning should you need it. One of my favorite feet in shoe styles that I have reviewed thus far.

Last but not least is a new style from Enktan Gully, enkythings, well actually its a variation on the previously released Sulaco Heels, These are not only a two tone version, but also come adorned with a sculpted flower in matching shades. A nicely textured shoe with a retro appeal.

StyleCard: Aoharu & Smarti Party

As promised more sweet treats from Aoharu Walk and a spectacular dress that I just could not wait a single second before getting it on and dancing around like a Smarti Party girl. These sweet red Bow Platforms from the newly released Aoharu footwear line pack a candy coated punch when paired with this completely irresistible dress from relative newcomer Chiocca Latte of CHI. The dress actually comes with a wearable temp rezzer that drops a sweet trail of candy beans wherever you go... not particles, actual prim candies all over my photo studio, too amazing! (Just make sure you are in an area that allows you to rez)

As for the finishing touches, a big mane of Detour hair and a sweet satin red bow from the same. To add just a bit more sugar I am wearing a cake necklace from Violet Voltaire, and the buncha heart bangles from Boing Fromage which are color change scripted for the perfect match.
