I am also having a small romance with my League Kate skins this summer. Enjoy!

Quick Stop.

I have always loved J's Boots, their quality and color, the thoughtful touches like heel options and multiple attach points, and I could go on... but it is easier to show you. The latest from J's is a sexy Western Short Boot. I picked the hot red color and then proceeded to go to town on a red and yellow mix and mash outfit, reminiscent of ketchup and mustard, there I said it.

A nice feature of these boots is multiple heel options, there is a skinny heel and a more traditional heel, you can select between black and stacked wood texturing on either option. The stitched leather detail and buttoned leather pulls are well done, and add to the authentic cowgirl feel on these cuties. The poses today are courtesy of Diesel Works, the latest set of modeling poses is the Diva II, I felt these were perfect for my visit to the local gas station market, total Diva setting!

Be sure and visit J's for the Boots and Diesel Works for some poses!

A Week of Top-Fives: Day Three, Long Boots

My ode to the long boot could last for days. I love them, revere them and have a real problem with restraining myself from buying them whenever I see them, even if I already have a pair that's pretty similar. They're all just so awesome!

I had a hell of a time picking boots out for this post. I wanted to show a lot more, but I limited myself to stiletto-heeled long boots only.

J's is a master when it comes to working the prims, and the texturing is always amazingly well-done. He told me not so long ago that he doesn't like to advertise himself, he only likes to make shoes. So besides his own update group, his only real form of advertisement is his amazing workmanship and killer options, like colour-change menus on the fatpacks, so you only have to have one pair in your inventory, not 12.

When the new incarnation of the Bax Prestige boots came out, I was in heaven, and they were my introductory post on this very blog. The best thing about these boots, besides the gorgeous texturing and amazing sculpty work, is the awesome features. When you buy them, they come boxed. You can unbox them in the store, and then either fit them yourself (because they are designed to fit very tightly to your leg) or have one of the very friendly store staff help you with the cool remote script system. Once you have one pair fitted perfectly to your shape, you can unbox any others you may have purchased and the store will automatically recognize you and ask if you'd like to use the last settings! Once you say yes, your boots will automatically fit to you like a glove. That, and the tonal colour change menu makes every Linden spent well worth it.

SLink's Sydney boots are beautiful works of architectural wonderment. I tried to imagine how I could ever wear these in real life, and I decided I can't. I'd love to, but I'd fall flat on my face. Luckily, my avatar doesn't have the same problem and she can happily prance around in these all day, and dance around all night.

YourSkin & YourShape is a store that's fairly new to me, never having heard of them before hosting them at the shoe fair this year. I can't imagine how I ever lived without them though, because their stock is absolutely amazing. The Big Sur boots come in lots of colours, and they'll go with anything from your favourite pair of jeans (hello Decoy, my ass loves you!) to a cute little dress.

Tesla is a big name in footwear, and there's little reason to wonder why. The Angelina boots were one of those purchases that I absolutely had to make, even though I have other boots that are similar (except for the fun laces detail at the back). Of course they're resizable and you can find a colour and look to suit whatever you're wearing.

Stick with me for heels tomorrow!

StyleCard: Sunday Three-way

So many great new items for me to blog, so little time. I decided to put together three new StyleCards to share as many new looks with you as possible. Fantastic new ankle boots from J's that are actually 2 boots in one. The new boots come with a taller buckled version and a 'pants friendly' version that only uses the foot attach point. Great color selection on these.

Sweet as honey 'Janes' from relative newcomer Miel add a kick of fun color to your wardrobe. One of a few adorable styles from Miel, which is also home to some great clothing, these allow for complete customizing with a simple touch drop down menu that allows for resizing too. These have a fun all in one sculpted wedge shape and subtle texturing.

Last but not least, new to me Evoke shows us some well sculpted slingbacks and cements themselves as 'ones to watch' in the shoe game. These have a sassy retro feel and really beautiful smooth shape, due to advanced sculpt creating techniques, one of many attractive styles available from this new kid on the block. Well worth a visit.

Playing Footsies

A couple of quick hits that are worth checking out, new releases from AOHARU Walk, J's Shoes and Kookie. Up first is the just born style from Kookie Lemon, Vogue Strappy Shoes. A fresh heel-less foot in shoe platform with metallic leather straps. Easy skin color change with a colour tinted ball that you rez and customize, and a HUD for nail color and the ankle fix options. These are available in multiple colors.

Next up is the attractive Flat Gladiator Sandal from AOHARU Walk. Like the rest of the Luxury Line more cute feet, but these are a flat which is less common. I like all the little details and the join at the leg looks great after minor fit adjustment. A sassy kinda flat sandal for sure. These are worth grabbing in your favorite shade.

Finally is today's release from J's, the Flip-Flap and Barefoot. Of all the foot in shoe styles I have tried I found these the trickiest to tint, but once i got them matched the result was rather nice. I love these flat foot styles and a flip flop is great shoe to have with the foot. These also come with the option of nail colors and can be worn as a bare foot too... which would be nice for photos but will likely need some retouch at the ankle. These come with a pair of cute flowered anklets to help disguise the join point.

Visit Kookie, AOHARU and J's Shoes.

The stuff; with Kookie - Redgrave Skin, LAQ Hair, Elate! Dress, LeLutka Accessories. with AOHARU - Redgrave Skin, Junwave Hair, TULI Top, COCO Short Denim with Belt, M.R.M. Bracelets. with J's - Redgrave Skin, ETD Ltd. Edition Hair (No Longer Available), League Frayed Skirt, Accessories by M.R.M. and UnTone.

StyleCard: J's Boots

Well boot season has officially begun, and despite the fact that I am more often in stilettos, it's hard not to fall for these amazing boots from J's. The 'real toes' of the summer have made their way into some funky laced up boots. The J's Real Toe 2-Way Boots are JB Gazov's most recent release, and they can be worn a variety of ways, all of which are pretty irresistible. Not only do these come with the adorable prim toes that can be tinted to match your skin, you can select from an assortment of toenail polish options too, but these clever boots do double duty with a closed version of the boot, and a version without the prim toes if you are attached to showing off those sexy avatar feet instead.

I decided to go with a simple but stylish monochromatic look for this style, starting with Maitreya's Jade hair with color changing knit hat. The scarf also has a color change option and comes in 2 lengths from :sey. The Mirli sweater is from Maitreya, and it's open back is a nice compliment to the open toed boots. Some simple Armidi rolled capri jeans, some bangles from Armidi and Caroline's seal the deal.

And now for a little preview, these are the boots that every little cowgirl and cowgirl wannabe has to have. These J's Fringe Cowgirl Boots are soon to be released, and I really love these... moving flexi fringes that echo your every move, line dancing or otherwise, too adorable! I am so digging with my new vintage jeans from Muism, and this asymmetric and totally wonderful jacket from M&R Cupcakes. Hair/Hat is ETD on sale now! (click on images to enlarge)

Be sure and visit J's soon!

Stopping Traffic

Short, sweet, and straight to what's on my feet. J's Real Toe Cross Belt Pumps, yes more of those amazing shoes with prim toes. These are a perfectly shaped classic pump, with spectacular cross strap details revealing the open toes. The toes are skin tone tintable, nail polish options and toe ring options too. And I have to highly recommend this silvery white color, seriously hot... and so rare to find a 'white' shoe with this much style.

Go get them here at J's!

Also wearing; GIUSIA Skin, Damselfly Hair, Ce Cubic effect dress, Earrings by Creamshop.

Toe Picking, Really.

JB Gazov, creator behind the amazingly well made J's line recently sent me his latest great release, and I have been sitting on this post for a couple days while my modelling career has had me very busy. But I have been wearing them around, these fantastic looking Real Toe Tassele Wedge Sandals, and getting loads of compliments on them. The most popular comment, well, question...'OMG, are those... toes?'. And, yeah kids, they sure are.

10 adorable little sculpted toes, 5 on each foot (clever), with toenails polished to perfection and itsy bitsy toe rings, they have it all. You can customize the flesh tone, the rings (2 options) or remove them on each foot, and a selection of nice toenail polish options too. Wedges are always a great summer shoe, and these are a great shape, nice details in the bead and tassel accessories, and you can wear with or without the upper leg attachment (which comes in 3 sizes), as you can see here.

6 Great colors offered; Beige, Black, Blue, Green, OrangeBrown, and Red. A very nice assortment. This is a pair I highly recommend, they sure are fun to walk around in and get asked about.

You can find them at J's, happy shopping!

I am wearing; PXL Linda Skin, Laqroki Fallen Hair, Ce Cubic effect Hooded knit, Carolines's Accessories.
