Fit & Finish

Beautiful new Anya separates from CandyDoll can be found at the current round of Uber. The fit on these is really sexy, with lots of neat little creases and dimples to add to the realism of these snug fitting pieces. I love the super high turtle neck look and partial hand gloves, and the dip on the front and back of the leggings. They lent themselves to a distinctly dancer vibe for me, so I went with some simple ballet flats from Reign, found at The Arcade Gacha Event. Nothing beats a day of working in something with the fit and finish of pajamas, that looks this good!

Doo-Wop & Denim

A trip to the Doo-Wop Diner wouldn't be complete without a perfectly cute outfit to wear. Blueberry answers the call, as usual, with cute and sexy separates that you will absolutely love. The Kimi Jacket and Skirt come in a variety of suede, leather and denim options with layered under-pieces like a knotted tank top and matching panties. Beautiful laced up stitching on the back of the jacket and a delicately upturned hem on the skirt are great details. So many ways to mix and match with perfect Fall accessories like a scarf, tall boots or a beret. I'm ready for my burger and a shake!

Good Witch

 

Getting the most out of the latest round of Collabor88, finding a few more faves to share. Flowey totally nailed it with this long sleek collared Fiona dress, I chose the dark teal color, perfect for fall with a bit of a grown up 'Wednesday Addams' twist. Exile released a super relaxed double ponytail style, More Than Ordinary, I added a pair of bows to up the cute factor on my 'Good Witch' look. I threw on a great off the shoulder cardigan from Gabriel, I am all about layering pieces and adding interest these days. Hope you like it as much as the crows did!

Sight Seeing

Strolling around on my blogging platform again, taking in the sights that I have rezzed all by myself! Oooh, look at the leaves, falling and stuff, and the faux cobblestones on the sidewalk... enchanting! But you know what is kinda special? Fall fashion. It is my absolutely favorite time of year, and I am wearing some new flare jeans from Cynful, I love the belted style and all the color options! My cute cropped top is from Just Because, and this latest hat & hair combination from Exile, Full Circle, is a perfectly wind swept style with BENTO movement... a sight to behold!

Merry Widow

Something to put you in the spirit of Halloween, even though it is still weeks away, this cosplay worthy lingerie and dress ensemble from Baiastice. Just released at the Salem event, Marchesa, features a lux lace paneled corset with delicate edging, an optional lace skirt, a structured over-skirt, removable bra cups and string panty. Baiastice always creates really special accessories, and I am in awe of this cameo set with a macabre selection of skull and bones ornaments. The shoes, named Anthurium, are a perfect match from my friends at Glamistry, they give me the height needed to pull off that full skirt, complete with a sassy ankle strap. All together a very merry pre-haunting style!

Back in some very fashionable threads from Cynful. 'The Hunt' outfit is well worth finding, out now at Salem, this top and pants set is flirty and fitted and tied on in a very revealing way. I topped it with another great jacket, this one from Plastix, a fluff of faux fur to warm me... my footwear, though barely seen, is a great pair of pointed ankle boots from Baiastice, well worth a look at if you are shopping the at Shoetopia. Time to prowl the alleys in my version of Superhero Chic!

Street Smarts

 

Finally beat the last of the summer heat, and one of those nasty 'change of season' colds, and made my way back to SL in plenty of time to showcase the best of late September and early October offerings. CandyDoll gave us something fantastic for Shoetopia, an event near and dear to my heart! Thigh high netting with bow trimmed garters that make for sexy street wear combos, and the Puffer Jacket from Baiastice kept me just warm enough! I promise not to stay away so long next time. Smoke and Mirrors

 

What makes Uber so special is the wide variety of styles and designers you can find there. Every month I find something new to inspire me. This month I am loving ANE Clothing, modern pieces with great texturing and an artful flare. A bandeau top that snakes around the body in a woven maze of wide strips, earrings that have a modern edge and metallic dipped look. I added a few more interesting pieces from Maxi Gossamer to round out this waist-up look... who needs bottoms?

In the Shade

There is something so very dramatic about an oversized beach hat, beyond the necessity of covering up from the sun, I just love the shadows they can cast. Baiastice has created a new hat and hair combination for the July round of Collabor88, opening today, paired with a matching Shirtdress, it is a very stroll-worthy look for an upscale resort or beach setting.
