Too Hot For Clothes

 

 

Is it getting hot in here? Luckily staying indoors and shopping around Second Life gives me plenty of time to stick close to the air conditioner, no such luck for my avatar, it was too hot for clothes today. The beautiful Helene Set from Addams, available at The Epiphany, comes in multiple options and colors, perfect for mix and match and for dressing up your 'undressed' self. The wispy pony style, Drive from Exile, with its sexy tendrils was a perfect compliment. Stay cool!

Strawberry Summer

Summer Glow

 

Inspired by one of the newly released Exile styles available at Collabor88, I decided to get my 'Summer Glow' on, the best way I know how... skin so pale that I simply glow from head to toe! I need a lot of SPF to achieve anything other than a 'Summer Burn'. But seriously, a cute updo like this one is perfect for a day cooling in the pool, trusty flamingo float by my side!

It is that time of year again, the bikinis are abundant, the sun is shining on every sim (even if we have to force it), and we are all looking for the kind of new releases that only Hair Fair can offer... oh yes, bring on the wigs! We are just 2 days away from DEMO Group bliss, so I urge you to join the group! Expect an onslaught of DEMOS from the best that SL has to offer, starting as early as June 30th. Join the Hair fair DEMO Group to get early access to all style DEMOS on July 10th, one day prior to the event opening. Hair Fair opens 11th July closes on the 26th of July. Every transaction made at Hair Fair will donate a portion to Wigs for Kids, the charity of choice for Hair Fair 2015.

Bandana Day is 26th of July where we remove our hair to show we care. All bandanas sold at hair fair have been created by Residents all over SL and 100% of sales of those go to Wigs for Kids, and are only available for sale during this event, and destroyed after it ends. They will be transfer, so you can gift them.

In Summery

It happened. Something got me to leave the safety of my sky platform and venture out into the wonders of SL, and I must confess, it was a bikini! Since I really haven't explored SL much lately, I returned to an old favorite, Las Lagunas, still such a beautiful place for photos, but still laggy and difficult to enjoy. In any case I invested some time in playing with lighting and shadows and captured a few images of some of the beauty offered at Summerfest, a promising event that will surely have you donning a bikini soon too!

 

The bikini is one of two spectacular mesh 'kinis from Baiastice, this style featuring small chain accents and not a whole lot of actual bikini, which makes it a super sexy little suit. I fell in love with the coral shade, and since no sun cautious beauty would head out into the sun unprotected, an oversized frilly hat, also from Baiastice is in order. It is just so gorgeous, how could anyone resist?

 

The skin is a new offering from Belleza, also for Summerfest. This sweetly freckled face is Ashley, in one of two make-ups at this event. In the warm tan tone it cannot be beat for a day by the sea. I also added a sweet hibiscus flower, from an old Plume hairstyle, that looked great dangling from my lips or tucked into this great style from Truth. It is easy to get into a summery mood with great items like these! (Complete details below.)
