So for anyone who might have been curious and confused by my previously posted rumor, I have some additional information that should clear up a couple misconceptions. This new info was actually based on something I spotted on flickr, you can take a peak for yourself here.
So the picture is becoming a bit clearer, and the good news for all of us it that Stiletto Moody is once again about to revolutionize the way we wear shoes in Second Life. Stiletto Moody BARE © appears to be a foot and a shoe together, not just toes but a realistic foot that can be worn in the tiniest of strappy sandals. This is going to be a photographers dream come true... are we getting excited yet?

I love Stiletto Moody, truly I do. And I am excited about these shoes and most likely will buy a pair, BUT...I can't help but feel that SM is being lauded by the SL community as the creator of something unique and revolutionary, when in fact, a prim foot/sandal has already been made by other creators. In fact, I have a pair..called Pretty Feet. I can't help but feel bad for that creator. *shrugs*
And please don't misunderstand my intent here. It's not to knock anyone or any brand, I just want people to be aware that SM is not the first one to come up with and sell this kind of shoe. :)
*gets fist full of Lindens ready to spend* :D
Interesting. I do want to see them inworld, though - the photo makes the toe/foot seams sort of obvious.
However, I think some of the confusion from the rumor was caused by the fact that it implied Stiletto Moody was the first to do sculpted shoes ("...the designer who brought sculpted shoes to SL..."), when this is not true (I'm sure many of us remember Tesla doing them long before SM even opened, for example). Unless SM was creating shoes under a different name/avatar....
Great idea, but I am disappointed that it will be Stiletto Moody. Let us all prepare for 2,000 L$ shoes with prim feet. :\
*faints from excitement*
I'm very excited to see what these babies can do. I do hope she is planning to have demos available this time. No demos is one of the big fails of Stiletto's store.
Moody's shoozes are very pretty, but not worth the price tag. Her prices are just absurd.
I agree with Lourdes and Marly. You can't fault a designer for seeing how far you can push the price point, but as someone who usually buys several pairs of boots a month, I won't pay SM prices anymore, even if they make me drool.
Yes everyone shud know the basics of selecting the perfect shoes..not all will know how to walk on "Charles David high heels"
Charles David high heels..gud job done..this blog will make every women learn abt shoes..
No demos? That leaves me cold...it's actually a feature offered from the "Service" menu, but they're "coming soon". Why would I pay that much when I have no idea what they look like on my avatar?
