Good Golly, Miss Molly! Canimal Zephyr has made shooooes... oh my happy little feets danced right on into these. I have to say that they are a truly remarkable first sculpted shoe for Canimal, a long time fave for fun punky clothes with amazing punches of color and hot style. The Shock Value Stilettos are a perfect extension of that Canimal style, all the color, all the fun (note the bow biting skull adorned toes), and an exciting square toed design for a nicely shaped stiletto. The shoes come equipped with a color change HUD for bow color options, a nice touch to extend the wear of the shoes. I can only say that these are a darn great shoe, and I look forward to seeing what Canimal's next surprise will be.

Pixel Mode...at least for now

So Tya Fallingbridge of Pixel Mode had a big contest recently for a new sim name...she's keeping it to herself, but the winner was announced and that lucky duck received free shoes for life! So while we all wait, Tya has a temp spot for the store on her sim and I was late in arriving to grab her newest release. These boots have been out for a couple weeks and I've seen them here and there. I personally am a boot fanatic...so these are right up my alley, 100 degree weather and all. Here I've paired the boots with the Ilia Hooded Top, which is the newest from Saeya Nyanda of Kyoot Army. The guns came later :) Visit Pixel Mode Inworld and OnLine!

Black Swan & More

One of the most thrilling fashion show experiences in recent memory was participating in the Black Swan show for the Rezzables Group, with Timeless Models. The show featured creations inspired by the Black Swan sim. And I was fortunate enough to wear this amazing ensemble by Rebel Hope Designs called The Wishbringer.

Rebel was kind enough to speak with me directly about how the look should be styled and that was when she introduced me to some amazing fetish boots by Lizziey Whittenton. I really marvel at the construction of these, and yes... not my usual style, but totally appropriate for this amazing costume by Rebel Hope. The Aubrey Boots by Whittentons are daringly high, laced to perfection with all the metal studs, rivets and accents stunningly textured. Have to appreciate this kind of workmanship.

Hot Find: Action

Let's face it, it is virtually impossible for us at 'On Your Toes' to review every new release and track down every amazing footwear find on the grid. Sometimes we need to rely on you, our readers, to gently shove us in the right direction when you see something that we might have missed. I sure missed these, but thanks to Dove Swanson's keen eye, I am able to show off these cuties.

Long before I blogged or modeled, I was just a Rockabilly Princess, managing both Pin Ups Nightclub & The Retrology Sim, and yesterday as I was getting ready to party it up at Retrology's First Anniversary, Dove sent me in search of these. Can you say perfect timing!


I love the Retro feel of these, the heavier looking sling, soles and buckles, the assortment of graphic patterns and colors that pop. Can't say enough about them.. they are fun and they were just what I needed. I had never heard of MarilynMonroe Munro's Action before, and I really enjoyed not only the shoes but some great men's and women's fashions and hair... and then there is a heavy surf/skate component that is going to require a second visit to fully check out.

I have resorted to desperate measures to try and bring you exclusive news from the shoe world before, but maybe this time I have gone too far.
