In The Nude

I love a simplified color palette like nude. Warm and easy on the eyes, this new neutral deserves a second look. I am wearing one of my own creations for DCNY, yes it happens, I do wear my own designs too. This little dress with the criss-crossing back straps and optional tango appliers has the feeling of lingerie for day or night. I am wearing it with tall boots from Maitreya, the matching suede color helps this dress bridge the gap between Summer and Fall.

 

The skin is the new and very gorgeous Leila from Belleza, as are the tango breast and slink hand appliers. The skin is soft and young looking, and the make-up options are rather stunning, well worth trying a demo! My fingernails are another perfect match from Flair, the nude pearly looking color is a great compliment that helps pull all the details together, while the Maxi Gossamer necklace and ring set from the current Collabor88 add that all important bit of icing to the cake. Earthbound

Another 50 Shades of Sexy post, in answer to the Blogger Challenge issued by Unapologetic Second Life Fashion Blog. I am doing post number 8, the theme, Bound, a tricky one for me since I had zero interest in portraying a typical bondage scenario, so it took me a long time to wrap my head around it. It finally dawned on me that all of us are bound in some way, to our careers, our many responsibilities... and the idea of a fallen angel, bound to the earth without wings would be a nice way to play on the theme a bit. Once again a Flix Saiman prop, The Crypt, from his shop CLICK, was a perfect backdrop to this slightly macabre scene of a sexy dark-winged fallen angel, earthbound.

Life Takes A Bow

The excitement of this year's Fashion For Life is nearing its end, if you are like me you have explored the sims, spent more than you planned to and are enjoying your new collection of exclusives, limited edition colors and surprise finds. One of the unexpected delights of FFL 2013 comes from !dM (deviousMind) by Chandra Meehan, the fantastic Lilac edition of Taunting Leda, an underbust corset style gown, with a lace and a sparkling variation, a neck collar and a fluffy boa shoulder piece. The gown can be worn with or without pasties, and they can be worn on a normal avy shape or with your Lolas Tangos.

 

The stunning accessories are also a FFL 2013 item, they are by Lazuri and called Avenue Spring Pastels Set, I am wearing them in a platinum and lavender, but they are texture change for both metals and gems, with dozens of unique combinations. Color change accessories are always something to get excited about and a great buy if you can get them at Fashion For Life and support Relay For Life too. Playing a bit of catch up with my 50 Shades of Sexy posts, this Blogger Challenge issued by Unapologetic Second Life Fashion Blog. I am doing post number 7, the theme, Agent Provocative, a really great one and one that I decided to be a bit more literal about. My very dear friend Flix Saiman created this wonderful Detectives Office prop for his shop CLICK, if you own it, or have visited his store to check out the demo, than you know that his sets are really exceptional, right down to the femme fatale silhouette in the glass door panel (which incidentally is me, too). Then I'm your girl! Actually, this sugar overdose was inspired by the Blogger Challenge issued by Unapologetic Second Life Fashion Blog, 50 Shades of Sexy.
