Step In Time

More looking ahead to Fall today, this time inspired by the latest from TRUTH Hair, which can be found at a new event called The Seasons Story. Juniper is a long and slightly wind-blown style topped with a smart wool hat, it comes complete with an easy color change HUD for both hair texture and hat color.

 

The outfit is a collection of Items from the new round of Collabor88. ISON has outdone itself with a generous new Fall Collection, included amongst these treasures are the over-the-knee riding boots, folded leather clutch and wool shorts with sheer trim, included in this look. The cardigan by Color.Me.H.O.F., a luxurious piece of work with golden buttons on the cuff, and belt closure. The Oversized pendant and ring by Maxi Gossamer, with its organic feel and colorful options, add an extra layer of timely detail.

 

Another beautiful Collabor88 skin offering from Glam Affair, Shanna is soft and is available in some truly exciting and colorful make-ups, but shown here is a softer more natural face. Taking a step back in time I added a silky camisole by League, and a pair of sheer olive stockings from Battered Boudoir. The complete look is one of the reasons that Autumn is my favorite season, the colors and textures, the leather and lux details, all make for easy wearing and gorgeous results. Primary Education

Yes, another round of Collabor88 has begun, and no doubt it will be tough rezzing and TPing for a little while... but what better time to take a quick look at some great things you may have missed during the last round, which should be showing up in these designers' main stores shortly.

 

This look started with the shoes from Milk Motion, add-ons for my beloved Slink feet, are all disco heaven with glitter and velvet platforms. The satiny and soft Emery silk dress with elbow length sleeves is sassy and bright in tomato red. I love the play of primary colors in the dress, shoes and accessories. There is something so simple about the contrast between warm and cool, a classic combination that is elevated with the great accessories from LaGyo.

 

The hair is from Exile, another great rigged mesh style from the new collection of HUD controlled color change goodness, the skin... the very delicious Candy from Glam Affair, these items can be found at The Arcade via gatcha. Ready, Set, Fall!

Heck yeah it is that time already! Time for every little pixel to begin the slow but steady change of season, after donning dozens of bikinis and teensy little frocks, it is safe to cover up again, and cuddle up again, with the September collection of Collabor88.

 

When it opens tomorrow (September 8th, 2013), we are sure to be treated to the usual range of quality items. I was thrilled to see amongst these, new releases from League... welcome back Nena Janus, I missed you! In A White Room

Booty shorts and thigh high boots, it is just that kind of day! Wearing a real mixture of pieces, some from the latest collection at Collabor88, others are hot new releases from some of my favorite designers. I like to challenge myself wear styles that I normally don't gravitate to; short hair, showing lots of skin, and a distinct lack of color. Sometimes it comes together to create a look that I really like, and that was the case when I made my attempt for today's blog post.

 

It has been far too long since Bax Coen has released something new and sexy, and these rigged mesh thigh highs are a perfect choice. Bax claims to have paid special attention to the rigging in the knee and ankle areas specifically, and you can see evidence of that. The boots come in a 'deformer' format, which gives them some adaptability to suit your specific shape. I like these a lot, and if you are in the market for some tall boots, these are worth a demo.

 

These super sexy booty shorts are part of a generous new release at One Bad Pixel (1bp), they are part of a set that includes a skimpy bikini, the sequined shorts have a great clubby feel to them and so I took them in that direction. More sparkle comes via the accessories from Maxi Gossamer, sleek short hair comes courtesy of Monso, and the real stunner is this halter top by Tee*fy, the open back reveals the most flattering view of your sexy skin, these are all found at Collabor88 along with the sweet faced Katya from Glam Affair. Fireworks

 

 

A dazzling batik print on a beautiful Baiastice dress is the inspiration for this post, the streaks of color reminding me of the fireworks we enjoy this first week of July. So perfectly matched with the latest from Redgrave, the Deborah shoes, with color customization, the dress and shoes create a summery holiday mood. Sun Blocked

When it comes to catching some rays, the best policy is always to protect your skin. A hat, some sunglasses, and a bit of sunscreen goes a long way to protecting those gorgeous SL skins. How fitting is it that so many recent releases seem to cater to the sunny escape, at least the ones at My Attic, and the great new Gogo from LeLutka with its big floppy sunhat.

 

You can just feel the warmth, sitting atop the Towel prop from W. Winx & Flair, with a fun sunset print, the same print as the great Slink Enhanced Hand Add-Ons from Flair, both are available at the current round of My Attic at The Deck, as are the shades by Amala! The dress by Maitreya has a great sarong feel, that makes it a more formal version of a beach cover-up.

The Shoes featured in this post are more absolutely gorgeous original mesh creations designed by Belgravia which are designed to work with the  equally wonderful Slink feet. I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am to wear these shoes, and to know that at the heart of this collaboration, and that is what it is when two designers come together to create great truly original content,  is the ingenuity that Second Life should celebrate. Miami Heat

It is time for another round of our beloved Collabor88, and I am ridiculously excited about the fun bright colors and summery flavor of the items available at this round. The inspiration for this post came in the form of the newest Barnesworth Anubis prefab skybox, a hot tribute to the deco inspired dwellings of South Beach, Miami, a fresh and fitting backdrop for this 90's interpretation of sherbet colored cool!

 

A guest at this round of Collabor88, and a relatively 'new to me' store, VinCue, delivers a sweet strapless dress in a ridiculously generous number of color combinations, all with this textural dot pattern on the bottom. Perfect garb for sitting indoors on a hot Miami day, sipping iced tea (complete with a splash of something more intoxicating.) The precious and delicate Solitaire Heart accessories set from Maxi Gossamer is quickly becoming one of my favorites, I love the understated scale of the necklace and as always the color change feature, this must have, can be found over at FaMESHed.

 

Finally, these fantastic Lydia Slingback shoes from Ingenue take a giant step forward, so thrilled to see yet another talented designer embrace the perfection of the enhanced Slink feet, and I just love the texture and multiple fun colors of this shoe, complete with baby peep-toes and bows... and we know how I love my bows! The skin is Cleo, the latest from GLAM Affair, just check out the perfection of this brightly colored eye make-up and sweet fresh face.

On The Bright Side

Time for a splash of bright color, courtesy of the latest release from Baiastice at this month's installation of FaMESHed. A bright lemony yellow dress with a slim line and accenting leather belt, such a simple and stylish look. The dress also comes in some more delicious bright colors and some really interesting printed versions too.

 

I have gone back to one of my all time favorite hairs from LeLutka, this time in a deep dark brown color, and the great accessories from Maxi Gossamer, Redgrave, and a clutch from Maitreya which echoes that great yellow and black combination. The super bright lipstick from Belleza really pops and accents both the pink stone in the necklace and the hint of pink in the shoes.

 

The clever Infra shoes from Just Design are a great wedge thong sandal with texture change options, as well as jewelry options. If you grab the Fat Pack you get even more versatility and can easily mix and match colors to get a very complimentary result for your outfits. The culmination of all these things is a bright look that is classic and fun at the same time.

Solar Flair

Bring on the bikinis! I'm ready for the heat... well, virtual heat, I am no fan of melting on a beach slathered in SPF 110. Thankfully Second Life is the perfect place to wear a sexy suit and show some glowing tanned skin, without all the unpleasant side effects of the sun. It is easy to show some flair in hot beachwear!

 

This very sexy suit is from The Shore Shack, which is the beachwear line from House of London, and you can find it at the brand new installment of FaMESHed... that is if you can pull yourself away from the Gatcha machines and related yard sales! I love the slightly metallic sheen of the fabric, and the very sexy suspenders, it feels modern and retro at the same time, and I have just the perfect shoes to match this style.

 

The Charme shoes from Just Designs are a very sexy shoe, nicely shaped foot, great canvas textures with multiple color options, and a smart wide bow that seemed to be just the perfect fit with this particular bikini.
