Oh Industry

Still plenty of time to make the rounds at the current incarnation of Collabor88, the clothes and accessories this round are really fantastic, but so are the décor items - you won't be sorry. In The Nude

I love a simplified color palette like nude. Warm and easy on the eyes, this new neutral deserves a second look. I am wearing one of my own creations for DCNY, yes it happens, I do wear my own designs too. This little dress with the criss-crossing back straps and optional tango appliers has the feeling of lingerie for day or night. I am wearing it with tall boots from Maitreya, the matching suede color helps this dress bridge the gap between Summer and Fall.

 

The skin is the new and very gorgeous Leila from Belleza, as are the tango breast and slink hand appliers. The skin is soft and young looking, and the make-up options are rather stunning, well worth trying a demo! My fingernails are another perfect match from Flair, the nude pearly looking color is a great compliment that helps pull all the details together, while the Maxi Gossamer necklace and ring set from the current Collabor88 add that all important bit of icing to the cake. Sun Blocked

When it comes to catching some rays, the best policy is always to protect your skin. A hat, some sunglasses, and a bit of sunscreen goes a long way to protecting those gorgeous SL skins. How fitting is it that so many recent releases seem to cater to the sunny escape, at least the ones at My Attic, and the great new Gogo from LeLutka with its big floppy sunhat.

 

You can just feel the warmth, sitting atop the Towel prop from W. Winx & Flair, with a fun sunset print, the same print as the great Slink Enhanced Hand Add-Ons from Flair, both are available at the current round of My Attic at The Deck, as are the shades by Amala! The dress by Maitreya has a great sarong feel, that makes it a more formal version of a beach cover-up.

The Shoes featured in this post are more absolutely gorgeous original mesh creations designed by Belgravia which are designed to work with the  equally wonderful Slink feet. I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am to wear these shoes, and to know that at the heart of this collaboration, and that is what it is when two designers come together to create great truly original content,  is the ingenuity that Second Life should celebrate. Blue Christmas

Just a bit of fun for a quiet day in SL. I love the look of layering, and wearing a bit of sparkle at this time of year. The new rigged mesh Tuxedo Blazers from MichaMi are just begging to be part of a special outfit, I was anxious to see if they could be layered over other rigged mesh garments, one of the trickier elements of mesh when you mix and match items from other designers.

I found the MichaMi blazer just perfect to wear over this sexy cocktail dress from ColdLogic, if blue or sparkle isn't your thing there are a few other great festive tones available. The hair is the spectacular new release from Exile at the current round of My Attic at The Deck. In addition to being a special half  up-do, you get the optional tiara style hair comb, that can be texture changed to a bunch of great colors, and even hand tinted to match whatever you choose. Perfect with the style from Exile, but can also be worn with other hair styles... for 95L (the standing price for everything at the event), the hair accessory alone is worth the price.

More layers, and more sparkle... the fantastic mini from Milk Motion works equally well with the MichaMi Tuxedo Blazer, and the bright blue shade was a great match. The little silk bralette from ISON is a great layering look for party looks, it is also tintable, and can be made a bit darker or given a hint of blue because it is an 'almost' black color.

 

With the sparkle factor left to the skirt alone, it is easy to up the bling factor with accessories like the ones from Maxi Gossamer, normally I try and stay away from wearing a whole set of jewelry at once, but party and formal wear are the big exception, I even added the feathery little purse. Turn up the glitter factor with the new eye make-ups from Chelle, these ones are from the Together for Sway event, great value and for a good cause too!  Have a great Holiday, all the details are below...
