Gos has released some beautiful new pumps at the current round of FaMESHed, the big news though, is that they have completely updated their colors and HUD system. No longer will you need to rely on drop down blue menus to access your Gos footwear, instead a series of color swatch HUDs will do the trick, and in more amazing colors than ever! You can now easily select from Gos Boutique Colors, Metallics (shown here) and even 'Blueberry' colors, a total of 56 shades, so you can match all your favorite outfits. I have paired up with this sleek blazer and crop top from Cynful, I love great layered sets like this. Just enough of that shimmer and shine to make for a great outfit.

Glitter Goals

 

The new Evening Glitter shadows, from Izzie's at Uber, sent me careening off into a world of vivid color and sexy style that resulted in my latest post. The two piece set I am wearing, from Cynful, has a deep plunge neckline that is supported by a delicate chain Y-strap back, it is completed with a barely there pair of booty shorts to match. The shoes, by CandyDoll, have a sexy platform molded base and plenty of buckles to keep your fingers busy... after you apply your glittering eye shadow!

Wild At Heart

Feeling pretty darn sexy in this ensemble today, I must say! First of all, the hair from DeLa is one of my all time favorites, I am such a sucker for big soft waves and that slight retro teased height at the crown. The fact that it covers almost half of my face just makes it even sexier! The face, let's talk about my face for a minute too... Belleza has released a series of skins that they are calling Belleza Best Buys, and after seeing the teaser for this skin a few days ago I have been dying to get my hands on it! This planned monthly event will feature select Men's and Women's skins for only 400L each, you will have 3 days to grab them, starting the first weekend of each month. So run, don't walk... and get yours.

 

The outfit is more of that classy mesh-wear from Baiastice, this time around I am wearing a sexy silky cami and belted harem style pants. The textures are outstanding and there is such a great casual quality to these items, available in some great rich colors too... I am wearing the champagne colored camisole and black pants because they are a perfect compliment to my new N-core Diva shoes, they are called Wild and I am going to have to say that the name suits them for more than one reason. I am also wearing some of the new accessories from Zaara again, they are so completely decadent and seem to go with everything! Lastly, a leather clutch from the Maitreya Night Life Collection, adds just a hint more sophistication to this very sexy look.

Warm To This

I got such a 'happy joy joy' kind of feeling slipping on these new mesh jewelry pieces from Zaara. In the past Zaara's designs have always thrilled me, something about the contrast between the perfect scale of her pieces, that manage to be chunky and delicate at the same time, with rich stones and designs inspired by not only East Indian tradition, but also modern designs for every modern SL girl. These latest releases are a fantastic mesh creation, the Atiriya accessories combine gorgeous semi precious stones, rich metals and flush set crystals scattered across the unique accent baubles.

 

As soon as I put on the Atiriya set in the gorgeous Carnelian and gold, I fell instantly in love with the warm feeling of these accessories. I decided to pair them up with a look that included some of the great new releases from Baiastice; Lira Shoes and Claudia Handbags, and the floaty little skirt from Tee*fy in a rich chocolaty color, and the final clothing item was the Ava jacket from Maitreya in an unexpected Mustard shade. All together the look was warm, and combined some great color and texture.

Counting Down

It is almost here... and I expect it has already arrived for many of you. What a great year 2012 was for SL fashion, and in particular mesh fashion. So many new favorites, that I decided to pull together one final post for the year, showing off some of my personal faves. Wishing you and yours the very best in 2013!

Comfort & Color

Fall is one of those magical times of year when pretty much any color palate can be acceptable, the last of the late summer pastels, the rich and bright colors of autumn, and the muted shades of winter are all fair game. With the mega release of comfy casuals at Maitreya this week, I decided to kick off my fashionista tendencies and lounge around in some of what are easily among the cutest drawstring pants, sweatshirt dresses and simple sweaters that you'll have to pry off of me for the next little while.

 

I took these photos in my very simple skybox setting, and really just took quick snapshots of the looks because they really don't need any of the fancy extras. With the majority of the items coming from Maitreya, the Lux Sweaters, Stefani Pants and Milia Sweater Dresses, I also added a new top from Emery, and some great complimentary footwear from Zaara, TokiD, Maitreya and Kitties Lair.
 

 

Accessories were kept to a minimum, all part of my clever casual style, but regardless of what I chose to wear it plays into a general colorful theme that matches whatever else I had on. The sweet fresh faced skins are League Jen and the hair by DeLa and LeLutka are favorites too. All the other notes from Head to Toes are included below. Stay comfy!

Risqué Business

Hazardous; risky; esp., fig., verging upon impropriety; dangerously close to, or suggestive of, what is indecent or of doubtful morality; as, a risqué story.

A bare shoulder, a hint of stocking, a dangerously deep open neckline, not the most daring of fashion statements unless they make an appearance at one of the places you wouldn't expect to see them, the workplace. I decided to play 'take your avy to work' day and file a report on some looks that border on the risqué, making Monday mornings at the office something to look forward to.

 

Inspired by the Nyu Debut Peplum skirt, I put together a proper look complete with stockings and stylish but practical heels, Pow Pumps from LeLutka, and then added the unexpected Cowl Bodysuit by Epoque. The Pantone Satchel, the perfect size to hold important papers, also from Epoque and the flowery Vera accessories from Donna Flora, add polish to this monochromatic outfit. Hair tossed up in a tidy knot complete with loose pieces the frame the face and  back of the neck add the final dimension to this 'mix business with pleasure' makeover.

 

Finding a way to make covered up professional wear sexy is a snap with this ISON Shift Blazer Dress, it has beautiful clean edges and nice details like the double rows of buttons and flat pocket flaps. A feminine silk blouse like this classic one from Shai, gives the impression of softly billowing sleeves and a bow tied neckline. I carried the tone of the blouse into the over the knee Jazz boots from Maitreya, in nude, and then filled in the space between with a tease of thigh high lace topped stockings from Blowpop, still one of the sexiest collections of well made hosiery you can find.

 

Next I went for the more obvious approach, a sexy suit, this one from Paper Couture Fall 2008, is an effective argument for well made non-mesh clothing, the hand painted subtle pattern in the rich grape color, even the use of a system skirt for shape, sans shirt, becomes daring. By adding the corset style Traveler Belt by Ingenue, and some soft suede boots the look is elevated. Flashes of gold jewelry, like the Aviary Claw Bracelet from ISON, and an 'Entangled' collection of pieces from talented (and fellow OYT Blogger) Caelyn Hancroft, her line of Cae accessories will be available soon, complete this outfit.

Shoes With Spice

Zaara Kohime has released her first shoes, exotic and beautiful as anything else we would expect from the talented Zaara designer. The footwear, called Ilaida Mojri, are a traditional Indian style leather casual with beautiful detail and sensational color. The shoes come in spicy brights and satisfying neutrals, all with color accent options for the top portion of the shoe and choice of gold or silver metallic trim.

The Ilaida shoes represent something that is pretty rare in SL footwear today, a flat casual shoe with character that knocks many simple ballet flats out of the ballpark. These shoes will be comfortable with more traditional Indian looks, your favorite casual clothing, or to add a pop of delicious color to any summery dress.
