Got Candy?

Then I'm your girl! Actually, this sugar overdose was inspired by the Blogger Challenge issued by Unapologetic Second Life Fashion Blog, 50 Shades of Sexy. For the next 50 weeks I will try to feature one post inspired by the theme of the week, and aren't you lucky... you have to tolerate it as best you can. Week one's assignment is 'Cotton Candy', and that is right up my alley, I am in love with pink; and bows, and cute stuff, and sweet stuff! So here it is, please take a bite, the details are below.

 

Let them Eat Kookies... and Tea!

I have been sitting on these pictures for a while now, just getting through a crazy busy time for me, getting the new issue of TOO SEXY Magazine out, but I am back, and ready to tease the taste buds of the shoe lover in you. It has been a few weeks since Quinlan Quimby of TOSL sent me her latest releases, Teacup shoes and these adorable Teacup dresses. The shoes are a perfect match for the dresses, they look like they have been crafted out of tiny little saucers from a pretty tea set I might have had as a girl, but the dresses are pure love!

I paired up the TOSL Teacup Dresses with the latest footwear release from Kookie, these have been out for a while but they are well deserving of a nod from OYT. Kookie's City Wedges, by Kookie Lemon, are a little slice of delicious. Simply great shape, and subtle realistic shading, the City Wedges are sleek and easy to wear.

I would recommend you stroll over to both Kookie and TOSL for a little something sweet!

StyleCard: TOSL Quilted Wellies

Last January I was thrilled to be reviewing the incredibly adorable Sweater Wellies from TOSL, by Quinlan Quimby, this time it's a perfect follow-up, Quilted Wellies! Yes they are cute, they come in 6 different fabrications (Ladybird worn here) and come with a tall and a shorter version, lined in sheepskin and complete with a dangling toggle fastener. This has to be one of my favorite casual looks in recent months, like herbal tea on a cool Autumn afternoon, you just can't go wrong with these!

StyleCard: TOSL Sweater Wellies

And the cute just keeps on coming! Color me happy when the super sweet Quinlan Quimby sent me her latest creation, the Sweater Wellies. TOSL, or Tree & Ocean SL™, has long been a favorite of mine for its creatively textured and uniquely shaped footwear, these Sweater Wellies come in two lengths and 8 colors, all of them completely fabulous! Cosy and cute is the vibe of these laid back boots, and the adorable pom pom tassel doesn't hurt either. I am wearing the Pewter, also available are Snow, Charcoal, Candy Floss, Sage, Dusk, Wintermint, and Butterscotch (not shown).

The rest of this look is made up of comfortable favorites like the cropped cardigan from DETOUR, a camisole from LAST CALL, favorite denims from MUISM, and accessories from Miam Miam. Hair is ETD cuteness, skin is from Redgrave.

Hot New Release: TOSL Punk Princess

I saw these dresses on Quinlan Quimby's flickr and I went completely nutty over them... and then I saw the completely unique custom shoes that she made to match! I am a long time fan of TOSL and the really special style that Quinlan has adopted, a bit more sculptural than most of what I see, and garments that really use the sculpted prim to full advantage.

The Punk Princess dresses and shoes are sold separately, and come in 4 color variations... shown here are Moonstone and Peacock. The dresses feature voluminous sheer billows of fabric from bustline to skirt and a sweet croc textured belt with jewelled buckle. The shoes come complete with the same jewelled buckle as the dress, and they have a nice moderate platform base with a sparkling gold undersole that I just love.

Another peak at what's new at Footwear Expo, this time it's TOSL. I just adore what Quinlan Quimby has come up with for us... 2 new styles, with irresistible charm and beautiful color too!
