Solar Flair

Bring on the bikinis! I'm ready for the heat... well, virtual heat, I am no fan of melting on a beach slathered in SPF 110. Thankfully Second Life is the perfect place to wear a sexy suit and show some glowing tanned skin, without all the unpleasant side effects of the sun. It is easy to show some flair in hot beachwear!

 

This very sexy suit is from The Shore Shack, which is the beachwear line from House of London, and you can find it at the brand new installment of FaMESHed... that is if you can pull yourself away from the Gatcha machines and related yard sales! I love the slightly metallic sheen of the fabric, and the very sexy suspenders, it feels modern and retro at the same time, and I have just the perfect shoes to match this style.

 

The Charme shoes from Just Designs are a very sexy shoe, nicely shaped foot, great canvas textures with multiple color options, and a smart wide bow that seemed to be just the perfect fit with this particular bikini. Sure I won't be marching up and down the beaches in these babies, but I fully plan to do just about everything else in them. (Read on for full shopping info.)

Ain't She Sweet

Opening today is 'The 100 Block' an exciting new event from Depraved Nation. Being a contributing designer to this event has its perks, one of which is being able to get a sneak peek at what other designers are doing, and I am eager to share one of my favorites with you.

 

If you are not familiar with Sassy!, you are missing a great store, I am an admirer of the quality of the clothing, not only is it consistent, but it also tends to walk the line very well between sexy and skimpy, often surprising me with more classy pieces that remain, yes,  sexy! The jacket and skirt are a great example of this, and are an exclusive release from Sassy! at 'The 100 Block'.

 

Because I can't resist great accessories I have pulled together some great ones here; ISON is responsible for the great bag and gold watch, Kumaki is responsible for the great sunglasses (worn in my hair) another '100 Block' Exclusive release to watch for, and the shoes are another great color change style from Redgrave. Just The Essentials

Essentially speaking, there are a few things you just need to have to make a great wardrobe, or in SL, that great go-to outfit that will work for almost any occasion. Case in point, this relaxed and easy collection of essential items that you wouldn't really think work together, but they do!

Neutral colors, black basics and modern accessories, and some great new shoes too, that is what my look is comprised of today. The Black Blazer, newly released by The Secret Store for FaMESHed, is a great way to add versatility to your outfit, wearing it over a great neutral colored dress by Maitreya, it is a easy way to change up a day look for a more nightlife ready style, just by removing the Blazer.

  

These great sunglasses by Kumaki, are a sneak peek at an exclusive new release for 'The 100 Block' Event, scheduled to open on May 10th, everyone needs their sunglasses, and these come with multiple color options, I just love them. Also from the land of color change awesomeness are the latest footwear released by Redgrave, I am completely in love with all of their most recent shoes, but these may just be my favorite!
