Life Takes A Bow

The excitement of this year's Fashion For Life is nearing its end, if you are like me you have explored the sims, spent more than you planned to and are enjoying your new collection of exclusives, limited edition colors and surprise finds. One of the unexpected delights of FFL 2013 comes from !dM (deviousMind) by Chandra Meehan, the fantastic Lilac edition of Taunting Leda, an underbust corset style gown, with a lace and a sparkling variation, a neck collar and a fluffy boa shoulder piece. The gown can be worn with or without pasties, and they can be worn on a normal avy shape or with your Lolas Tangos.

 

The stunning accessories are also a FFL 2013 item, they are by Lazuri and called Avenue Spring Pastels Set, I am wearing them in a platinum and lavender, but they are texture change for both metals and gems, with dozens of unique combinations. Life Is Full Of Surprises

There is so much that can be said about color, why we love the ones we do, why some colors make us feel joyful when we wear them, and why some have the power to transform us. Green is one of those colors that speaks to us of life, and regeneration, and possibility. At FFL 2013, Kunglers has offered up this remarkable little cocktail dress, in the most gorgeous shade of green. As if that weren't enough to excite you, they have also given us this artfully crafted statement necklace, alive with flowers and blooms and richly colored accents. Such a wonderful surprise for the eyes, and worthy of such a great cause.

 

These incredible shoes are the very latest from the Gos Boutique Collection, the Angelina Peeptoe wraps around the foot in fine fashion, leather and criss crossing laces all atop a sweet platform base. They are elegant and edgy at the same time, and depending on the color you wear they can make a real impact, or simply accent what you are wearing. So fabulous!

Peachy Keen

Because I am a little late to the party, Fashion For Life 2013 is already in full swing. I have to give my applause for this collection of designers willing to put so much time and effort into a fundraising event, especially one of this size! If you are brave enough to travel to the wonders of the world, aka. the themed builds from the 9, yes 9, sims jam packed with excellent shopping, you will have to dig a little to find some of these precious gems. This dress from G Field is one of my favorites, I love the sweet puffed sleeves, flowing a-line damask skirt and criss crossing ribbons at the neckline. The color combination is equally refreshing.
