The Holidays are usually a time of parties and celebrations with friends, and as the Holiday Season approaches once again it is the perfect time to put together a few party going looks that make you feel sexy, sleek and seductive. Wearing Metallics is one was to do that, and a few of my favorite designers are fulfilling my needs perfectly right now. Gos Boutique released the stunning zipper heeled Bianca Pumps at Uber, and they are truly exquisite. Just BECAUSE has the Wendy Dress out at FaMESHed, and it has just the right metallic sparkle to pair perfectly with the pumps. I am ready to step out and sparkle in this outfit, I feel like an ornament, in the very best sort of way!

Chill Out

 

As much as I love bundling up to face the chill outside at this time of year, I cannot deny that wearing something a little... less, is also very appealing. Blueberry is always a great place to find skimpy, sexy and well made garments, like the newly released Ela items, a mini fur trimmed bomber with tube top option, and a pair of short denims. Gos released some great open toed booties, Kendall, that work perfectly with Ela, the materials are spectacular looking, and they come with a handy visual HUD in the Blueberry colors, so you can color match precisely. I am all about chilling out in this look, time to get out there!

Soda Pop

Time for a little bit of a throwback, and for me that means a little retro love. Narcisse has released the Adalynne Cardigans at Rewind, and the detail of these is really something special, each color comes with a specially selected matching colorful embroidery on the shoulder, and with the peek-a-boo open front you still have a sweet and modest little cardi. I paired it with a pleated skirt from TETRA, that I have blogged before, and the newest from Gos, showing off more of the delicious new colors you can find in this release. Anyone interested in a sip of my cherry soda?

Gos has released some beautiful new pumps at the current round of FaMESHed, the big news though, is that they have completely updated their colors and HUD system. No longer will you need to rely on drop down blue menus to access your Gos footwear, instead a series of color swatch HUDs will do the trick, and in more amazing colors than ever! You can now easily select from Gos Boutique Colors, Metallics (shown here) and even 'Blueberry' colors, a total of 56 shades, so you can match all your favorite outfits. I have paired up with this sleek blazer and crop top from Cynful, I love great layered sets like this. Just enough of that shimmer and shine to make for a great outfit.

Doo-Wop & Denim

A trip to the Doo-Wop Diner wouldn't be complete without a perfectly cute outfit to wear. Blueberry answers the call, as usual, with cute and sexy separates that you will absolutely love. The Kimi Jacket and Skirt come in a variety of suede, leather and denim options with layered under-pieces like a knotted tank top and matching panties. Beautiful laced up stitching on the back of the jacket and a delicately upturned hem on the skirt are great details. So many ways to mix and match with perfect Fall accessories like a scarf, tall boots or a beret. I'm ready for my burger and a shake!

Another great pair of pumps from Shoetopia, on now until October 9th. Gos translates every style of shoe into something special with a keen eye for detail and a rich palette of colors that seem to change with the season. Dulce is no exception, making every ankle it wraps itself around just a little sexier! I opted to up the sexy in my favorite new lingerie from Addams, a blazer from Tetra and lots of fun accessories. Add anything you want to underneath your blazer and it adds up to a perfect match!

Thigh High

 

Shoetopia continues until the 9th of October, which means there are plenty of fat-packs still available! Today I am expressing some undying love for the thigh high boot Ariana, a la Gos. Stepping thigh high into buttery soft suede has to be one of the best indulgences you can find in SL, the kind of fashion choice that makes it possible to forget to wear a skirt... as if you need one with these babies. I matched up with a brilliant high turtle neck from Erratic, and lingerie from Addams, and I didn't forget to bring along another fab bag from Baiastice!

Girly Things

 

My obsession with ruffled things started early. I was one of those lucky little girls with a canopy bed, all pink gingham and accented with waves of frill. I remember the first pair of pumps I bought as a teen, they had black suede ruffles lining the front of the glossy patent leather kitten heels, very late 80's! No question that I was going to love the latest shoes from Gos, as usual they are flawless and also happen to be fabulously frilly, what I didn't expect was a matching dress that made my heart happy too. With dozens of the best footwear designers SL has to offer, 4 distinct gacha areas, an easy to navigate event venue, and the knowledge that you will be supporting a great cause, Shoetopia truly is a different kind of Shoe Fair!

Licorice Soft Whip

I have been trying to work with the new 'materials' feature for mesh in SL, unfortunately I am still working out the kinks and trying to 'make nice' with the official viewer. Properly lighting my photos using the new feature is challenging. I love the idea of having this as an option, I do still wish that the content creators who have quickly jumped onto the bandwagon of this new feature, would offer their items in a non-materials version too. When using my preferred viewer and light setting without a non-materials option the accessories look flat and dark, so while they are really wonderful items, I sadly will have to largely forgo wearing them for now.

 

I wanted to feature these accessories by Maxi Gossamer, as they appear using the materials feature in the main SL viewer, they are great and the texture certainly comes to life a bit more with this option. I am also enamored by the light ruffled wrap style dress by ISON, and the equally soft and romantic hair by D!va. The shoes, the latest from the exceptional Gos Boutique are another must have item, by my calculation, I love the options to select different fabrications for various parts of the shoe, which makes getting the full color set even more irresistible (shown here in a combination of black and silver.)

 

This look is comprised of items mostly found at the current round of Collabor88. This round is, in my humble opinion, one of the best and most cohesive in recent memory. It is easy to pull together effortless summer looks from the numerous pretty dresses and separates, exceptional add-on shoes (for Slink feet), and accessories on hand, not to leave out the wonders of décor and prefab builds you will find there.
