The Atomic Era

I was inspired to throw together this sleek monochromatic and slightly futuristic look today, by a good friend who often wears this as his signature style. Nothing wrong with borrowing a little fashion inspiration from those around us, especially when you start with a great looking jacket, this one newly released by R3VOLT, with a great combination of tweed and buckles, and an open raised collar.

 

Finally a great reason to wear these amazing ankle boots and tights, both recently released by Maitreya, Spring and Summer might be just around the corner, but these exceptional pieces make the last few cool days of late Winter weather much more bearable.

As I always take my accessories very seriously, I need to name a few great pieces today, starting with these mesh gloves from Baiastice, and the Neo glasses from Redgrave, but perhaps my favorite touch is the Rejuvenated Heart necklace from Maxi Gossamer, such a clever and meaningful item for me recently.

Right Here Waiting

I've been riding a bit of a roller coaster lately, trying to figure out some things, and perhaps putting myself first for once, maybe even realizing my own worth. I am grateful to the people that have inspired me to make some positive changes, and even if they aren't able to be with me every day, the days in between are better because they are part of my life now. Waiting for the good days to come back again, is so worth it, and distractions such as beautiful new releases make the time pass really quickly.

 

Case in point, Celoe newness, another gloriously crafted sandal, this one is a little bit rock and roll, and a whole lot of detail that makes them work well with many styles. A signature 'C' dangles from your ankle chain, available in gold and silver tones, leather of various colors combined with the metal decorations make for a really great shoe. I adore bright colors, but today I fell in love with the look of the gold and black combination, and it was a great compliment to this very dramatic body-con dress from Belgravia. A few pieces of Maxi Gossamer jewelry and all is right with the world with this sleek and sexy outfit.

Another 50 Shades of Sexy post, in answer to the Blogger Challenge issued by Unapologetic Second Life Fashion Blog. I am doing post number 9, the theme this time is Pillow Talk. Earthbound

Another 50 Shades of Sexy post, in answer to the Blogger Challenge issued by Unapologetic Second Life Fashion Blog. I am doing post number 8, the theme, Bound, a tricky one for me since I had zero interest in portraying a typical bondage scenario, so it took me a long time to wrap my head around it. It finally dawned on me that all of us are bound in some way, to our careers, our many responsibilities... and the idea of a fallen angel, bound to the earth without wings would be a nice way to play on the theme a bit. Once again a Flix Saiman prop, The Crypt, from his shop CLICK, was a perfect backdrop to this slightly macabre scene of a sexy dark-winged fallen angel, earthbound.

Life Takes A Bow

The excitement of this year's Fashion For Life is nearing its end, if you are like me you have explored the sims, spent more than you planned to and are enjoying your new collection of exclusives, limited edition colors and surprise finds. One of the unexpected delights of FFL 2013 comes from !dM (deviousMind) by Chandra Meehan, the fantastic Lilac edition of Taunting Leda, an underbust corset style gown, with a lace and a sparkling variation, a neck collar and a fluffy boa shoulder piece. The gown can be worn with or without pasties, and they can be worn on a normal avy shape or with your Lolas Tangos.

 

The stunning accessories are also a FFL 2013 item, they are by Lazuri and called Avenue Spring Pastels Set, I am wearing them in a platinum and lavender, but they are texture change for both metals and gems, with dozens of unique combinations. Color change accessories are always something to get excited about and a great buy if you can get them at Fashion For Life and support Relay For Life too. Stay Golden

More Baiastice to share, in fact, I don't know how Sissy Pessoa does it, she participates in so many great event, always managing to create unique and interesting garments, and she also manages to release items in her own mainstore too. This post shows off the just released the Rei Dress, which is available at The Boutique, a new venture by the Liaison Collaborative. The dress itself combines a sleek silhouette with an almost rubber-like sheen over a modest neckline and sleeves in a second color, it also has an optional overskirt layer with a hint of a floral pattern. It is a dangerously sweet look, available in soft pastel combinations perfect for spring, and the striking black and white version shown here.

 

Baiastice is also responsible for the sexy footwear shown in this post, just released in the mainstore are these Athena Pumps, available with and without socks, and they come with a HUD of great hosiery color and texture options including satiny solids, delicate fishnet-style hose, sexy lace and more. Besides the rigged mesh hosiery, these shoes also feature a very golden toe and heel cap, which inspired me to add more golden accents, like this very unique open necklace and matching ring from Maxi Gossmer, and this oldie but goodie purse from Paper Couture, a great addition with its quilted exterior and plentiful golden accents. The Right Blue

There isn't really a wrong blue is there? I love it in all shades and variations, and I love wearing blue, on blue, on blue. This amazing dress from Baiastice certainly gave me the chance to do that, is is so sleek and classy, with a cut-out leather collar that adds the real detail to the dress. The dainty but perfectly blue earrings are from Caroline's Jewelry, a collection of tiny teardrops that hang delicately from the ear. The shoes are more of the Gos Boutique Collection, a lovely metallic blue that works so well with the blue clutch from Remarkable Oblivion, and the pretty Tiger Lily ring from Maxi Gossamer.
